Whale Watching

I still woke up early but this time it was for our whale watching trip! We made breakfast and a picnic lunch by ourselves.

I really enjoyed the good sea views from the boat! And we were lucky to see a bald eagle, sea lions, a rare puffin, cormorants, and YES, KILLER WHALES!!!  This was a fantastic experience, even though, we couldn’t get really close to the whales, because they are protected from boats getting too close to them.  After learning about whales in class, it was so great to see them in the wild.

By the time, we got home today, I was really tired and just wanted to fall asleep. I think I am still a bit jet lagged. I hope I am less tired soon!
